THE ASSEMBLY ROOM

The Market Hall is built on two floors, connected by a rather steep staircase. Easier access between the two floors is by leaving the building and walking round the outside.

The Assembly Room

The Assembly Room measures 12 metres by 6 metres plus a stage measuring 6 by 3 metres. The assembly will seat up to 110 cinema-style but is also very suitable for seated dinners, receptions or parties. It has a substantial galley kitchen with refrigerator, water-boiler, microwave, oven and hob. There are ladies toilets plus one ladies/gents disabled toilet. Coats may be hung in the entrance lobby.

Equipment

Both rooms are fully equipped with chairs and tables. Crockery and cutlery is provided in the kitchens.

Disabled Access

There is permanent ramped access to the Lower Room, and a moveable ramp to gain access to the Assembly Room. Disabled toilets on both levels. Loop system in the Assembly Room. 

Unfortunately there is no lift.
